This is a mural project I did for a korean restaurant called "sinsa" in Bangkok, Thailand.
The word "Sinsa" is two things. first, it's a neighborhood in Seoul and secondly, it means "gentleman"
I wanted to embody both the city and the more obscure meaning of the name in one mural. I also wanted to create a mural that has an interactive quality to it.
So here it is, all 6.5 X 10 meters of it, I designed the mural in a way that if you stand in front of it, it looks like the cat is putting his jacket around you like a gentleman. I also painted the city of Seoul soaked in the dusk as the setting for this rom-com-worthy scene.
9 days under the blistering heat of Bangkok summer, I had a blast!
